Standin' on a Corner in Winslow, Arizona

New Update below!
Yes! You've heard the song! You know the words! Now you can have a permanent place "Standin' On A Corner in Winslow, Arizona."

We are building a park "ON THE CORNER" about the song "TAKE IT EASY" that made our town a household word all around this country.

It will feature a 6' tall bronze statue of the man in the song "TAKE IT EASY" with a wall mural depicting part of the song also. The ground will be covered with engraved bricks that can be purchased by you so that you, your family friends, relatives, or loved ones can be part of this park. Bricks can also be inscribed "IN MEMORY OF" and the persons name.

Select one of the donor bricks, jot down what you want inscribed and you'll be standing on that famous corner at Second Street and Kinsley Avenue in Winslow, Arizona.

Our donor bricks come in 4" x 8", 8" x 8", and 12" x 12". The 4 x 8 brick has up to three (3) lines inscribed with a maximum of fifteen (15) characters per line. Our 8 x 8 brick and 12 x 12 bricks have six (6) and ten (10) lines enscribed respectively, both, also, with a maximum of fifteen (15) characters per line. The number of characters per line includes punctuation marks and spaces. The cost for the 4 x 8 brick is only $50.00, the 8 x 8 bricks is $100.00, and the giant 12 x 12 is only $250. All proceeds will be used to build the park and to revitalize Winslow's Historic Downtown. We accept Visa, MasterCard, checks and money orders. Call us TOLL FREE at 1-888-824-9610.

Update:  We are proud to announce the first anniversary of the park on Sept. 29 & 30, 2000. Bands featured include "Hotel California" which will be doing a tribute to the Eagles. Randy Meisner of the eagles a long time ago has said they definitely do the Eagles music justice. Also featured is the band "Hack and the 57's". They are a rock a billy band and do all the oldies. See more about them at www.rockabillyhall.com. There will be vendor booths and music all day, both days. Everyone is invited to come and share in our tribute to a grand piece of Americana. Donors are still needed to help complete payment on the park. A piece of immortality still awaits you.

You or the ones you love can
be forever standing at that famous
corner of Kinsley and Second Street!
